About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team at Aviva. As a Scrum Master, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects by facilitating effective collaboration and communication among team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Influence project outcomes by providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Prepare and present sprint reports and status updates to stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with project partners.
  • Facilitate Scrum meetings, Scrum of Scums, retrospectives, and other Agile framework meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with the Aviva Change Framework across the project.
  • Develop and maintain the project's critical path and track progress against it.
  • Identify and report risks and issues to senior leadership.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading complex technology initiatives with budgets exceeding $1 million.
  • Proven expertise in Agile project management methodologies.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT delivery and business acumen in general insurance.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with vendors and system integrators.
  • Preference for background in pricing and data science.
