Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' assets and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct proactive and reactive security patrols to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Provide exceptional customer service skills to clients and visitors, including those who may be under stress or in need of medical assistance.
  • Perform a variety of preventative and reactive duties, including interior and exterior patrols, security escort services, and incident response.
  • Accurately log and document all shift activity, calls for service, and incidents.
  • Investigate and follow up on incidents, write reports, and conduct door opening requests and CCTV camera reviews.
  • Enforce security policies and procedures, and apprehend or evict violators from premises when necessary.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including ID badge distribution, key management, and lost and found services.
Requirements
  • A valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • Proficient in English (both oral and written).
  • A degree in Police Foundations, Protection Security and Investigations, Criminology, or Border Services is an asset.
  • Proof of double Covid Vaccination.
  • Immunization Record (measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and TB skin tests 1 and 2).
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Level C Certification.
  • Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB).
