Overview

We're seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to provide exceptional customer service and maintain our service territory.

At Konica Minolta, we value open and honest communication, customer-centricity, innovation, passion, inclusivity, and collaboration. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction while managing and maintaining a service territory.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Set up and install equipment at customer sites and in-house
• Maintain accurate inventory and tool kits
• Discuss training requirements with management
• Attend training courses, including after-hours travel and overnight/weekend stays
• Foster effective relationships with customers and colleagues
• Assist team members as needed
• Liaise with sales and administrative staff
• Complete service reports accurately and on time
• Work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications

• Community College Certificate in Electronic Engineering Technology (or equivalent) preferred
• Install and troubleshoot basic printing and scanning solutions
• Working knowledge of basic print color theory
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to handle customer complaints
• Own vehicle with valid insurance and appropriate coverage
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• CompTIA A+, Net+, Microsoft certification preferred
• Konica Minolta Outward Professional Certification
• Ability to travel within Canada and U.S. and provide and maintain valid passport at own expense
