We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team at La Ronge Petroleum Ltd. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our facility.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Previous experience is considered an asset
- Equivalent experience: Relevant experience may be accepted
- Assemble containers and crates for shipping
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments against invoices or other documentation
- Maintain an organized internal record-keeping system
- Document shortages and reject any damaged items
- Direct goods to the appropriate storage locations
- Prepare goods for shipment
- Unpack received items efficiently
- Supervise the loading and unloading processes of goods
- Experience with industrial lift trucks and forklifts
- Familiarity with loaders
- Strong attention to detail is essential
- Ability to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Must possess a cellular phone
- Accuracy and dependability
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal communication abilities
- Flexibility and initiative
- Organizational skills and reliability
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
