Job Title: Sr. Business System Analyst

At Highbrow LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Business System Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in analyzing current data processes and making recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze current data processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge.
  • Work directly with the team to understand analysis and design needs.
  • Use a variety of data analysis and organization tools to discover the most impactful solutions.
  • Implement data products curated by our Chief Data Office, as well as custom data models for fit for use.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across various data sources and systems to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
  • Provide technical support to promptly resolve escalated incidents/outages.
  • Develop and document a detailed solution design, imparting subject matter expertise throughout the life cycle.
  • Develop system performance and development standards requirements, then develop functional, technical, and designs.
  • Build designs that leverage existing reusable components, trace back to business requirements, and that new modules are designed with reusability in mind.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to data engineering.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate Degree.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience with Java and Spring.
  • Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, HDFS, ADLS, ADF, Spark, Kafka, Databricks.
  • Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Cassandra.
Desired:
  • Experience in Python and Scala.
  • 5+ years of Capital Markets experience.
