About the Role

Moksi Consulting Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our computer networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Problem-Solving: Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Network Maintenance: Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, maintain control records, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Network Security: Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance to ensure the security and integrity of our network.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise technical staff and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of network projects.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in network administration and support.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail.
