Position Overview

The Logistics Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the efficient management of supply and equipment logistics across various healthcare facilities. Reporting to the Planning/Logistics Manager, this position is integral to ensuring the seamless delivery of goods and equipment to designated staging areas, thereby optimizing warehouse and satellite storage utilization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods and equipment.
  • Monitor healthcare redevelopment project timelines and manage incoming deliveries to align with project schedules.
  • Coordinate assembly, quality control, and documentation processes for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders, including government entities, vendors, and internal departments, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies during the logistics process.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • At least three years of experience in Supply Chain Management, particularly in Logistics and Warehousing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP, and Client Management Databases.
  • Experience in a healthcare or construction environment is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Physical capability to lift and transport items weighing up to 40lbs.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel across multiple facilities as needed.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring a commitment of 75 hours bi-weekly. Flexibility to travel to various locations is essential.
