Job Title: Data Protection Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Engineer to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a Data Protection Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing data protection technologies to ensure the security and integrity of our data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data protection solutions using various technologies such as Vormetric/CipherTrust Data At Rest Encryption, Hardware Security Module (HSM), and PKI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data protection solutions meet business requirements and are aligned with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data protection solutions, including design documents, implementation guides, and operational procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders on data protection best practices and technologies.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in database engineering and/or storage, with expertise in Unix/Linux and cryptographic technologies.
  • Experience with CipherTrust Manager and/or HSMs, with knowledge of various encryption technologies and standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
