About the Role

The Integrated Logistics Support Specialist will be responsible to the ILS Sustainment and Provisioning Lead for cataloging and administrative functions, and will work closely with ILS Project Engineers and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cataloging
    • Review and verification of equipment Part Numbers, Cage Codes, and related technical data.
    • Evaluating and acquiring supplementary Vendor Furnished information needed to catalog systems and presenting this information at Provisioning Conferences.
    • Arranging meetings with VSY suppliers in conjunction with VSY Supply Chain buyers or attending supplier progress meetings to address Requests for Information.
  • Administration Support Functions
    • Update of Label criteria for Spares and Special Tools and Test Equipment and Installed Equipment identified for serial management.
    • Update of Spares and Special Tools and Test Equipment and Consumables metadata with respect to prices, part number changes, and Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transport.
    • Customer Equipment and Document Number Application Requests and Management.

Requirements

  • An Engineering degree, or Equivalent Experience, or enrolled in a Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Mechatronic Engineering degree program.
  • Above-average Microsoft Windows application experience, communications, and interpersonal skills are required for this position.
  • Background in marine systems and equipment is desirable.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
  • Excellent digital literacy, including Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and manage your time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
