Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Banff International Hostel. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our properties, as well as supervising and coordinating the activities of our cleaning staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, train, and supervise cleaning staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Inspect sites and facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Recommend and arrange for additional services as needed, such as painting, repairs, and equipment replacement.
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent position with 30 to 40 hours of work per week.
  • Fluency in English.
