Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at State Window Corporation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Products: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Quality Log Management: Create and update quality log sheets, quality alerts, and standard work instructions to maintain accurate records.
  • Product Implementation: Assist with the implementation of new products on the shop floor, ensuring seamless integration and quality control.
  • Project Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure proper quality and installation of products, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Support: Lead problem-solving events related to product improvement and provide technical support on quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Technology, Industrial, or equivalent field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing and fabrication in a related field.
  • Certifications: Yellow Belt Six Sigma, SQE, or CWT Certification is a strong asset.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: May require heavy lifting, working indoors, and adhering to safety rules and regulations.
  • Site Visits: Site visits may involve exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and loud noises.
  • On-Site Environment: On-site work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks that require knowledge of and adherence to basic safety procedures and precautions.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Wearing PPE is mandatory in the plant facility.
  • Health and Safety Standards: Follow Health and Safety Standards at all times.
  • Flexibility: Flexible to work overtime as required.
