Job Title: Quality Control Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Technician to join our team at Concord Premium Meats Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for conducting air and water quality testing, sampling and analysis using chromatography techniques, and maintaining laboratory equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and control, with experience in process troubleshooting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct or assist in air and water quality testing
  • Conduct sampling and analysis using chromatography techniques
  • Maintain laboratory equipment
  • Operate laboratory apparatus
  • Set up chemical experiments, tests and analyses
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards
  • Assist in the development of chemical engineering processes, studies of chemical engineering procurement, construction, inspection and maintenance
  • Conduct safety training programs
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
