Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough patient consultations to identify medication-related issues and provide personalized counseling and education.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to develop and implement business strategies that drive pharmacy growth and profitability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy practices, regulations, and technologies to ensure compliance and excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization)
  • Strong clinical expertise and knowledge of pharmacy practices and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a retail pharmacy setting
  • Knowledge of pharmacy software and technology
  • Leadership or management experience
