Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of staff performance and customer feedback.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, and resolve any customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, and initiative.
