Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Scaffolding Specialist to join our team. As a Scaffolding Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and building scaffolds to meet site requirements, material specifications, and CSA standards. You will also be responsible for assembling, dismantling, and modifying System (Layer/Ring Lock) and Tube & Clamp scaffolds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design scaffolds to meet site requirements, material specifications, and CSA standards.
  • Assemble, dismantle, and modify System (Layer/Ring Lock) and Tube & Clamp scaffolds.
  • Ensure safe work practices in the industrial environment, including knowledge of Task Hazard Assessments.

Qualifications

  • Journeyperson Scaffolder certification or proof of Journeyperson level hours.
  • Proven experience as a Journeyperson Scaffolder, preferably in a heavy industrial or construction setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of materials, tools, and installation techniques used as a scaffolder.
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently as required.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or CSTS-09.
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space Entry & Monitor.
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection.
  • Basic Rigging Certification.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.

Preferred Requirements

  • Aerial Work Platform.
  • First Aid.
  • WHMIS.
