Plant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to join our team at Héroux-Devtek. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all activities at our site to ensure the highest levels of profitability, productivity, quality, and on-time delivery.
Main Responsibilities- Create and implement production plans with your production team to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure that materials and equipment are well-maintained and utilized in a productive and appropriate manner.
- Work with our Vice President, Landing Gear Division, to analyze contracts and their impact on production.
- Establish a business growth and manufacturing strategy to optimize operating profit and ensure short- and long-term performance.
- Lead and develop your team to ensure they are fully united and efficient in achieving our goals.
- Promote our company values of Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, and Recognition.
- Ensure sound management of all operations, including production, maintenance, logistics, quality, and administration.
- Mobilize human resources to achieve organizational goals and develop talents accordingly.
- Efficiently manage operation and investment budgets to maximize return on assets.
- Create and maintain a secure work environment for all employees.
- Ensure the monitoring of performance indicators to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies and action plans for quality, on-time delivery, and cost.
- Ensure constructive relationships with external partners.
- Maintain good business relations with customers and develop a professional network within the community.
- Align our company strategies with market opportunities and motivate the team to support management in setting priorities.
- Ensure health, safety, and site security requirements are respected.
- University diploma in engineering.
- Solid, progressive manufacturing experience at a managerial level.
- Familiarity with JIT, lean manufacturing, and MRP manufacturing systems.
