We currently have an opening for a Personal Insurance Advisor to join our Personal Insurance team on a Permanent Full-Time Basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address ongoing client needs, provide insurance advice, conduct assessments, recommend solutions, respond to inquiries, and manage renewals
  • Generate new business by selling policies to both existing and new clients
  • Engage in outbound calls, introductory communications, and assist walk-in clients
  • Collaborate with Underwriters and Adjusters regarding guidelines and policies
  • Prepare necessary documentation for insurers, complete client applications, issue certificates, process changes, and review renewals
  • Stay updated on underwriting standards and workflow processes
  • Participate actively in training programs
  • Engage in community marketing efforts

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma and/or Post-Secondary education
  • At least 2 years of sales experience (insurance sales experience preferred but not mandatory)
  • Possession of Level 1 General license or willingness to obtain
  • Familiarity with Epic software is an asset
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Must pass a criminal background check and credit assessment
