Job Summary

Oxford Pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Aide to join our team. As a Pharmacy Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: College/CEGEP education and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Supervise and Direct: Supervise and direct activities of other medical technologists or technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment, including sterilization equipment and instrumentation, to ensure proper functioning and safety.
  • Supply Management: Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, including ordering and inventory management, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Claims Processing: Process claims, such as health insurance or workers' compensation, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Office Management: Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and appointment scheduling, to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient restocking.
  • Screening Questions: Answer screening questions, including language proficiency, work experience, and availability, to ensure candidate suitability.
