Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Prime Truck Repair Inc. as a Truck Maintenance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Identify faults and malfunctions in mechanical units and perform necessary repairs to prevent downtime.
  • Complete Detailed Reports: Maintain accurate records of maintenance services performed and provide detailed reports to management.
  • Coach and Instruct Apprentices: Share knowledge and expertise with junior technicians to ensure a smooth transition of skills and knowledge.
Specializations
  • Engine Repair: Diagnose and repair issues with diesel engines, including fuel systems and emission control systems.
  • Electrical and Electronic Systems: Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems, including wiring and circuitry.
  • Brake Systems: Inspect and repair brake systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Work Environment
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment requiring hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
  • Skills: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, and reliable.
