About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic Specialist to join our team at Newtech Truck Repair. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, automotive systems, and truck-trailer systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Estimation and Scheduling: Estimate parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, and schedule maintenance services as required.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Coach and instruct apprentices in the repair and maintenance of commercial transport trucks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Fast-paced environment, hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work overtime as required.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
