Required Qualifications

  • Present a robust portfolio of design work included in your application.
  • Develop and showcase initial drafts and polished mockups to internal teams and key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other prototyping or wireframing applications.
  • Extensive experience applying UX design best practices to create solutions that reflect a profound understanding of mobile-first and responsive design, while prioritizing accessibility and brand identity.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively to stay ahead of the development team.
  • Offer insights and guidance on implementing UX research methodologies and testing strategies to analyze and forecast user behavior.
  • Collaborate closely with product and marketing teams to conceptualize user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that foster intuitive user experiences.
  • Evaluate UI components such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, and designs using CMS platforms like WordPress to support the rollout of new features.
  • Adhere to style guidelines on typography and graphic design to maintain brand identity.
  • A creative and analytical thinker who is flexible in receiving feedback and constructive criticism from all levels within AutoCanada.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of front-end development principles including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience in illustration, video production, and animation.
  • Formal education, training, or certification in Product Design and UX/UI Design.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and excellent communication abilities in both spoken and written English.
  • Experience in the automotive sector is an advantage.
