Job Title: General Practitioner, Red Fish Healing Centre

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner to join our team at the Red Fish Healing Centre for Mental Health and Addiction. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively to provide high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health and addiction challenges.

About the Centre:

The Red Fish Healing Centre is a state-of-the-art facility that provides specialized mental health and addiction services to adults across the province. Our centre is designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to receive the care they need to achieve their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care services to individuals with complex mental health and addiction challenges
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Participate in on-call schedule and provide after-hours coverage as needed
  • Contribute to the ongoing education and professional development of the team

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for provisional or full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
  • Fellowship with the College of Family Physicians, or equivalent
  • Experience in addiction medicine is desirable
