We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at the Red Fish Healing Centre. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing education programs for our nursing staff, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills needed to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess individual and group learning needs and develop education programs to address these needs.
- Collaborate with the Supervisor and interdisciplinary team members to design, develop, and implement clinical education programs.
- Utilize adult education principles and methods to teach, demonstrate, and facilitate learning.
- Develop and review learning resources, including orientation/training programs, educational support programs, and continuing education sessions.
- Support preceptors, mentor/mentees, and clinical programs to ensure the achievement of specialized practitioners within the program/team.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as an Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).
- Three (3) years' recent, related experience to the applicable population group, including one (1) year experience developing, implementing, and/or delivering education services.
- Valid BC Driver's License.
