Position Overview:
The Vice President of Travel Operations will play a pivotal role in steering the strategic direction of our travel services division. This leadership position requires a dynamic individual who can collaborate effectively with the Chief Operating Officer and Commercial Account Directors to actualize the brokerage's vision through efficient operational practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the profitability of the travel services division.
• Lead and mentor a team of Commercial Directors to foster a high-performance culture.
• Drive and support operational initiatives aligned with the overall strategy and administrative budgets.
• Conduct financial assessments to inform hiring strategies and operational improvements.

Market Engagement:
• Cultivate and manage relationships with market partners and stakeholders.
• Provide training to staff on new offerings from various markets.
• Collaborate with the team on market placements and maintain regular communication with market contacts.
• Develop and implement operational policies that align with strategic objectives, ensuring optimal execution.
• Prepare performance reports for the Commercial Team, analyzing risks and opportunities to inform decision-making.
• Engage in the formulation of both short-term and long-term plans and budgets based on organizational goals.
• Collaborate closely with Risk Control and Claims Experts to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in a leadership or senior management role, preferably within an insurance brokerage or similar environment.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a relevant designation such as CIP / FCIP is advantageous.
• Comprehensive understanding of insurance brokerage operations and processes.
• Proven ability to enhance client service quality through product and service innovation.
• Familiarity with EPIC software is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
