Job Summary

Kainaan Drywall Ltd. is seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate and prepare materials, tools, and equipment for projects
  • Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
  • Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build chimneys and fireplaces
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will work in various locations, including construction sites, and may be required to work at heights.

Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the trade
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work accurately and reliably
  • Excellent client focus and teamwork skills
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 to 44 hours per week
