About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at Kainaan Drywall Ltd. as a Bricklayer and Concrete Technician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units to construct residential or commercial structures.
  • Estimate materials, tools, and equipment required for projects and ensure accurate calculations.
  • Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing and construct prefabricated masonry units.
  • Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces.
  • Lay radial bricks to build masonry shells of industrial chimneys.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • The role requires working in a physically demanding environment with extended periods of standing, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Ability to work in various locations, including construction sites, and adapt to changing work conditions.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in masonry or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a 40 to 44 hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
