Position Overview

Qualifications
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a related field or equivalent experience
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in various locations, contributing to multiple projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist management in the execution of safety initiatives
  • Assess and evaluate existing safety programs
  • Review architectural plans, schematics, and site layouts
  • Develop and implement safety protocols
  • Provide training and information to stakeholders, including employers and the public
  • Conduct inspections of construction sites and engineering projects
  • Verify compliance with design specifications, building codes, and regulations
  • Ensure that electrical and plumbing installations comply with governmental standards
  • Enforce standards for steel and concrete installations
  • Inspect sewer systems and pipeline constructions
  • Monitor and report on safe working conditions
