Position Summary:
We are seeking a Master Data Specialist to contribute to our Asset Management and Reliability team. This role is integral to maintaining the integrity of asset data within our enterprise asset management system.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Master Data Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and sustaining asset master data within the S4 HANA system, focusing on functional locations, equipment objects, bills of material, material masters, and maintenance plans.
- Conducting field assessments to validate assets against documentation, ensuring accuracy in asset existence, operational conditions, and nameplate details.
- Creating detailed work instructions as necessary to support data management processes.
Candidate Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A Diploma or Certification as an Engineering Technologist (CET) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Technology.
- A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in environments utilizing industrial equipment for master data management.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, and SLDs, including the ability to markup drawings.
- Advanced skills in SAP S4H-PM (Plant Maintenance) and Microsoft Excel.
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Word and SharePoint.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Consideration will be given to equivalent combinations of education and experience.
