Job Summary
Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, including writing reports and conducting investigations.
- Provide first aid and medical attention as required.
- Assess situations and provide solutions to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Collaborate with security supervisors and managers to ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal laws.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a security role, preferably in a gaming environment.
- Written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical skills.
- Ability to obtain a Criminal Record Check through the Gaming Enforcement Branch (GPEB).
- First Aid Level 1 certification, with Level 2 certification an asset.
- 1-2 years of demonstrated security/surveillance experience, with gaming experience an asset.
