Gas Plant Operations Specialist - Power Engineer

Roska DBO Inc., a leading operations company in western and northern Canada, is seeking an experienced Power Engineer / Gas Plant Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will work on a 7/7 or 14/14 rotation, alternating days and nights, at a facility near Fort St. John, BC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain gas plant equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Monitor and control plant processes, making adjustments as needed to meet production targets.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless plant operations and maintenance.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections and repairs, to prevent equipment failures.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in power engineering and gas plant operations.
  • Preference given to candidates with board/panel experience and a 4th class power engineering ticket.
  • Valid Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, and Common Safety Orientation certifications.
  • Clean driving abstract required.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
