Job Title: 3rd & 4th Class Power Engineering Operators

Techmation Electric & Controls is seeking experienced professionals to fill the role of 3rd & 4th Class Power Engineering Operators for a project in Fort St John, BC.

As a 3rd & 4th Class Power Engineering Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of power generation equipment in an oil and gas plant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain power generation equipment, including gas driven power generation and condensate stabilization.
  • Ensure compliance with current OH&S legislation and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with a team to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements:

  • 3rd or 4th Class Power Engineering ticket.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in oil and gas plant facilities.
  • Previous experience in Ifpexol refrigeration, Sulphinol sweetening, acid gas injection, and gas driven power generation is an asset.
  • Current Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive, and CSO certificates.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
