Construction Project Coordinator Role

PCL Industrial Management Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Project Coordinator to manage the success of construction projects. This role involves various responsibilities that are crucial to the project's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and surveys for contract progress and reporting
  • Maintain contact with subcontractors and handle subcontract administration tasks
  • Manage the change order process and assist with estimating
  • Assist in crafting and issuing tender packages and subcontracts
  • Handle project document control and procedures
  • Assist in managing overall project performance
  • Prepare and track progress claims and estimates
  • Coordinate inventory and tracking of materials and equipment
  • Prepare work packages for self-perform work
  • Perform other duties as required
Required Qualifications
  • Construction trade certification or post-secondary diploma/degree in construction management or engineering
  • 6-8 years of construction experience in an operational role
  • Mechanical experience required
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple supervisors and sub-trades
  • Intermediate knowledge of construction specifications and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to apply engineering principles to construction challenges
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Pre-Access Alcohol & Drug Test required
