Position: AZ Truck Operator
Overview: The AZ Truck Operator is tasked with executing daily local transport of natural stone while adhering to CVOR regulations and maintaining safe driving practices consistently.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with alternating Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering granite, marble, and quartz slabs to various locations.
- Conducting local deliveries with multiple stops and engaging with clients.
- Maintaining a legal and precise logbook.
- Adhering to safety protocols in all job aspects.
- Interpreting the Bill of Lading and picking sheets accurately.
- Managing the positioning of blocks and securing cargo with ties, straps, chains, and binders.
- Assisting in the loading, unloading, and securing of freight.
- Performing various warehouse tasks as required.
- Carrying out additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma preferred.
- Minimum of one year of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a driving skills assessment.
- Bilingual skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Possession of a valid Class AZ CDL is required.
- Driver abstract and CVOR report must be provided.
