Job Summary

The AZ Truck Driver is responsible for completing daily local deliveries of natural stone by following CVOR regulations and safe driving protocol at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver granite, marble, and quartz slabs to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform local deliveries with multiple stops, interacting with customers and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Maintain a legal and accurate log book, adhering to all regulations and company policies.
  • Follow safety procedures in all aspects of the job, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.
  • Read and understand the Bill of Lading, ensuring accurate picking and loading of cargo.
  • Position blocks and secure cargo using ties, straps, chains, and binders, ensuring safe transportation.
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and securing cargo, working collaboratively with the team.
  • Generate lbs of vertical push/pull force, lifting and transferring 65lbs as needed.
  • Able to lift and transfer 65lbs, carry at least 30lbs the length of the truck bed, and ascend/descend multiple-rung ladders.
  • Frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch, working in a variety of environments.
  • Work at elevated heights of 72" above the ground, assembling and disassembling securing equipment, and at lowered heights of 6" above the ground.
  • Perform various warehouse duties as needed, supporting the team in achieving company goals.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as required and/or requested.

    Requirements:

    • High School Education preferred.
    • One year of verifiable driving experience.
    • 1 year of verifiable driving experience with heavy-duty vehicles.
    • Must pass a skilled test (driving test) and CVOR pre-employment requirements.
    • Bilingual a plus, but not necessary.
    • Must possess a Valid Class AZ CDL.
    • Driver abstract and CVOR report required.
