Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 1197643 BC Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Food Preparation: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of the quantities of food used and restock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, and package take-out food to meet customer needs.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with our team to maintain a fast-paced and efficient environment.
Work Environment

As a Food Counter Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods and working under pressure.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week
