Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Long-Haul Truck Operator to join our team at ROADEX TRUCKING. This role involves transporting goods across various distances while ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while on the road.
  • Collaborate with a partner in a two-person team or convoy.
  • Operate specialized lighter trucks for various transport needs.
  • Load and unload cargo efficiently and safely.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Manage financial transactions related to goods being transported.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance to uphold vehicle performance.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch for updates and instructions.
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel usage.
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo through proper tarping techniques.
Licenses and Certifications
  • AZ class license required.
Safety and Security Checks
  • Driver's validity license check.
  • Driving record check (abstract).
Travel Requirements
  • Willingness to travel across borders.
  • Availability for extended travel periods.
  • Capability to travel overnight as needed.
