Truck Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Operations Specialist to join our team at ROADEX TRUCKING.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to professionalism, customer service, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials;
- Loading and unloading goods in a safe and efficient manner;
- Maintaining the condition of the vehicle, including checking tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment;
- Performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order;
- Receiving and relaying information to central dispatch regarding cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption;
- Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo;
- Handling heavy loads and performing physically demanding tasks as required;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- AZ class license;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Flexibility to work overtime as required;
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility;
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills;
