Job Summary

The Accident and Health Claims Adjudicator is a key role within our organization, responsible for the timely and accurate adjudication of Life/Specialty claims. This includes Critical Illness, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Personal Accident, and Business Credit Card Travel claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adjudicate Life/Specialty claims in a timely and accurate manner
  • Investigate and analyze claims data to make informed decisions
  • Interact with clients, claimants, and field staff to exchange information and resolve claims
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Accident and Health Adjudication
  • Licensed or working towards CIP designation
  • Post-secondary education in an insurance-related field considered an asset
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software
