- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional health, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for addressing these needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their healthcare.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies that enhance patient care.
- Graduation from an approved/recognized school of nursing program.
- Current and continuing practicing licensure with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CRNNL).
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (CPR).
- Canadian Nurses Association Gerontological certification or willingness to complete within a designated timeframe.
- A satisfactory certificate of conduct.
This is a casual, variable-shift position, with opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
