Job Summary

Quad IT Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Internet Web Site Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our web site infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Coordinate access and use of computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and mainframe networks.
  • Web Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain web server hardware and software, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with computer systems and networks, including hardware, software, and network connectivity problems.
  • System Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions as needed.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Network Security: Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance to ensure the security and integrity of our web site infrastructure.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise other technical support workers in this group, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • User Support: Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Reporting: Report on the performance of computer systems and networks, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Work Environment

As a member of our IT infrastructure team, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. You will be expected to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and efficiently with colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, including network administration, web server management, and system monitoring. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
