As a valued member of Falconridge Dental, the Associate Dentist will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. This position requires a commitment to excellence in patient treatment and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health to identify and address dental issues.
- Utilize advanced imaging techniques, including X-rays, to enhance diagnostic accuracy.
- Deliver a range of dental services, such as preventive cleanings, extractions, restorative procedures, teeth whitening, and the application of crowns and veneers.
- Administer local anesthesia as necessary to ensure patient comfort during procedures.
- Guide patients in maintaining optimal oral hygiene and provide detailed aftercare instructions following treatments.
- Perform screenings for oral cancer to promote early detection and intervention.
- Prescribe medications, including antibiotics and pain relief, when appropriate.
- Maintain a sterile environment by ensuring all dental tools and equipment are properly sanitized.
- Take precise impressions for the creation of personalized dental appliances, including mouthguards and dentures.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree.
- Valid state license to practice dentistry.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrated experience in a dental practice setting.
- Proficiency in using a variety of dental instruments and technologies.
- Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Outstanding communication abilities.
