Position Overview

As a Sales Associate at BLUEBIRD LIQUOR, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the cash register efficiently.
  • Handle transactions involving cash, checks, and credit/debit cards.
  • Scan and bag items for customers.
  • Receive payments for goods and services.
  • Accurately calculate daily or shift payments and reconcile with total sales.
  • Welcome and assist customers with their inquiries.
  • Ensure merchandise is wrapped or placed in bags appropriately.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Monitor store entrances and exits, ensuring proof of payment is requested when necessary.
  • Verify customer age for the sale of restricted items such as lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Qualifications
  • No formal education required; on-the-job training will be provided.
