Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at YARROW LIMITED PARTNERSHIP. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Support Worker will be responsible for assisting patients with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including cleaning patient rooms and common areas
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Transport patients between care facilities
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Criminal record check
  • Immunization records
  • Tuberculosis test
  • Adult Abuse Registry check
