About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Mapgears. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Process: Implement the Mapgears Sales process in assigned accounts, ensuring a tailored approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
  2. Sales Targets: Establish and deliver order, revenue, and profit targets for our products in the off-road sector, driving growth and expansion.
  3. Account Planning: Develop and execute account plans to advance Mapgears' relationship and account penetration with assigned clients, leveraging the Mapgears Sales Process to drive continuous improvements.
  4. Forecast/Report Performance: Develop and implement results-oriented activity and forecast information, providing timely insights to inform business decisions.
  5. Solutions Development: Collaborate with the solutions team to create compelling solutions for assigned clients, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  6. Manage Competitive Activity: Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to contain competitive activity and increase market share within assigned accounts.
Requirements
  1. 5+ years of experience in building and managing client relationships, particularly in software sales.
  2. 5+ years of experience in account management.
  3. A degree in Administration or Sales.
  4. Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  5. Maintaining and growing key relationships.
  6. Strong strengths in improving customer satisfaction and driving revenue.
  7. Fluency in English.
Assets
  1. Experience in GIS.
  2. Knowledge of the software world and business development process.
  3. Experience in B2B sales.
  4. Experience in the following fields: municipal, waste management, public work.
  5. Fluency in French.
