Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at pt Health. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physiotherapists in delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist physiotherapists with client care, including the use of ultrasound equipment, exercise programs, and other treatment modalities.
- Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining accurate records and communicating with clients and healthcare professionals.
- Work collaboratively with clients to set and achieve functional goals, promoting independence and empowerment.
- Collect and analyze outcome measure data to inform treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain and clean/sterilize medical equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for clients.
- Conduct inventory of clinical supplies and maintain a well-stocked treatment area.
- Patient-focused and empathetic approach to client care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Previous experience working in a clinic setting, preferably in a physiotherapy or healthcare environment.
- PTA diploma or Kinesiology degree preferred, but not required.
