Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at New Nugget Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Help with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
- Operate dishwashers and assist with washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, and flatware.
- Restock condiments and supplies in the dining room and kitchen areas.
- Participate in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas.
- Help with removing kitchen garbage and trash.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Repetitive tasks.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
