LTO Assignment: Grade 1 English Instructor

We are seeking a qualified English teacher to fill a Long-Term Occasional (LTO) position for Grade 1 at the Ottawa Catholic School Board.
Responsibilities- Teach English to Grade 1 students
- Develop and implement lesson plans
- Assess student progress
- Communicate with parents and colleagues
- Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification
- Experience teaching Grade 1 English
- Strong communication and organizational skills
The school board shall identify the most senior applicants who meet the qualifications for the position. Applicants will be contacted and asked to confirm their interest in the position. If any applicants decline, the next most senior qualified applicant will be contacted.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary and benefits for this position will be determined in accordance with Article 32 of the OECTA Collective Agreement.
