About the Role

Fiona Anderson is seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with grocery shopping and other errands, ensuring they have access to essential goods and services.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending, with the ability to lift and move objects as needed.
  • Personal Qualities: We are looking for individuals who are punctual, dependable, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The work environment is non-smoking, and the work setting is a remote location with room and board provided.
