Job Title: Home Support Worker

Fiona Anderson is seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist clients with medication management, ensuring they take their medications as prescribed.
  • Monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any concerns to our team.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a care-giving role an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and our team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on client-centered care.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable).
