Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our delivery team as a Furniture Delivery Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our delivery drivers with route planning and execution, inspecting and loading products, and providing excellent customer service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist delivery drivers with route planning and execution to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products
- Inspect and load products to ensure they are properly secured and ready for delivery
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers, including answering questions and resolving any issues that may arise during delivery
- Document delivery status and ensure accurate reporting
- Assist with the assembly of products in customers' homes, as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise exceeding 50 lbs on a regular basis
- High school diploma or equivalent is an asset, but not mandatory
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
